Northanger Abbey
Young Catherine Morland is invited by her neighbors Mr. And Mrs. Allen to Bath for a few weeks. The first time there they are quite boring when they do not meet someone they know and thus just have each other to spend time with. However, Catherine is presented one evening to Henry Tilney at a dance performance and after that they meet another family, the Thorpe family, with whom they develop a close acquaintance. Catherine also becomes acquainted with Henry's sister Eleanor Tilney, and when Tilneys leaves Bath she is invited to accompany them to Northanger Abbey.

Persuasion
At the center of the plot is Anne Elliot, daughter of a nobleman with poor finances. Because of his and his older sister's difficulties in keeping a firm grasp on the family's finances after the death of the mother, they are forced to rent the family property and settle in Bath instead. Anne, in her youth, fell in love with and engaged to a young sailor, Frederick Wentworth, and it is by chance his brother-in-law and sister who decide to rent the estate. Because of this, they both meet again, and despite the fact that many years have passed since Anne was persuaded by her older friend to discontinue their relationship, she realizes that the feelings have not completely disappeared.

Emma
Emma Woodhouse is young, beautiful, rich and talented. She lives with her old father on a property outside the small town of Highbury. Her days are spent with family and friends, dinner parties and small outings, and her great interest is forging marriage plans - mainly for her patron Harriet Smith.
Emma has many good ideas and does everything to make them come true, but she suddenly finds that she has made the most fatal mistakes and put both herself and others in embarrassing situations. However, the right couples eventually become happily and well married, and a somewhat subdued Emma promises herself never to try to organize any parties again.

Jane Austen, born December 16, 1775 in Steventon, Hampshire, died July 18, 1817 in Winchester, Hampshire, was a British author. With her love novels, Austen has become one of the classic writers of English-language literature. The best known titles are Reason and Feeling (1811), Pride and Prejudice (1813), Mansfield Park (1814) and Emma (1816). All of Jane Austen's novels have been filmed several times.
